Satkhol, January 26, 2020: On the occasion of the Republic Day, Camp Greens, in association with Udhyam and Frozen Woods Resort, Mukteswar, jointly organised a 5 km and 10 km race and 15 km-long Mountain Terrain Bike race at Satkhol village, Nainital district, Uttarakhand.
In these events, in total, 74 male and females from Satkhol and surrounding villages participated. Devendra Thakur, an international-level cyclist hailing from Chamba, Himachal Pradesh and Nirmal Kumar, a national-level cyclist from Haldwani also participated in the cycling race.
The idea behind the event was to promote sports among the village community and to give them an opportunity to interact with Thakur and Kumar.
