Apply to the Udhyam Entrepreneurs' Program

Are you from Uttarakhand? Do you have a business idea that could transform your region and your future? Do you dare to dream?

If you believe you have what it takes to become a part of Udhyam’s next cohort of rural entrepreneurs, send us a message with your questions or queries.

The applications for the next cohort (2019-20) are open. The last date to apply is October 02, 2019. You can learn about the selection process below.

Who you are

  • You currently live in the region of Kumaon in Uttarakhand (Nainital and Almora districts at the moment)
  • You have a business idea that you’d like to set up, or an existing business that you’d like to sustain or grow
  • You have the drive, motivation and ability to see your business plan through to the end
  • You have a vision for your enterprise – how you would like to see it grow and contribute to your village and community
  • You are willing to take on board the feedback, suggestions and advice from the team of Udhyam mentors and on-ground team.

The application process

  1. Register: Call 8392982929 or 7900900661 any day  between 10 am to 6 pm and answer a few basic questions about your business idea.
  2. Interviews: You will be called in to a location in your district and be asked to sit through two rounds of interviews.
  3. Home visit: A member from the Udhyam team will visit you at home to get to know you better.
  4. Selection: You made it! An Udhyam team member will call or visit you to inform you about your selection and tell you about the next steps.
